Case Study: Fever-Tree USA 2023-2025

Our primary goal was to integrate DEI into the fabric of Fever-Tree USA's operations, aligning it with its core mission and values rather than treating it as a separate initiative. 

Objective: Assist the HR and People Team in strengthening company culture, promoting a sense of belonging, increasing employee engagement, and creating cultural awareness. Improve accessible internal communications and encourage proactive employee and management accountability, particularly regarding HR functions—all contributing to a positive, high-performing, and inclusive workplace.

In 2023, our partnership with Fever-Tree USA helped to deliver the following outcomes:
 

  • Strengthened alignment between US operations and UK global DEI initiatives
     

  • Improved internal communication and functionality using SharePoint as an efficient resource hub
     

  • Enhanced employee awareness about benefits, such as charitable matching, sustainability, wellness, and day-of-service programs

In 2023, our partnership with Fever-Tree USA resulted in the following local community outcomes: 
 

  • Over $10,000 was spent supporting Black, Women, LGBTQ+, and Latine-owned restaurants
     

  • Two vibrant Happy Hour events hosted by local LGBTQ+ performer
     

  • Over $4,500 donated to charities chosen by employees in 2023
     

  • 300 Fever-Tree cases donated in support of LGBTQ+ wellness
     

  • 10 employee volunteer days dedicated to serving local communities

How We Work

In 2023 and 2024, our DEI consulting and services for Fever-Tree USA included:
 

  • Ongoing internal communications to inform the US team about awareness days, heritage months, and key internal and community initiatives
     

  • Facilitated various training sessions, from leadership discussions on belonging to recognizing various significant observance days
     

  • Outlining of Fever-Tree USA's employee-led DEI committee, amplifying employee voices and driving impactful initiatives
     

  • Guided team-building activities, including community clean-ups and internal communication highlighting employee benefits such as $100 stipends to spend at minority-owned businesses
     

  • Review and editing of internal platforms like SharePoint to ensure they incorporate inclusive language, user-friendly accessibility, and seamless DEI integration, creating a more navigable and inclusive organizational culture
     

  • Support to onboarding education through resources like LinkedIn Learning and curated educational tools
     

  • Consultation with Fever-Tree USA's HR Director and People Team to address needs and urgent matters, serving as an extension of their team to develop and implement effective solutions

As a result, Fever-Tree USA has created a thriving culture of belonging, curiosity, respect, and understanding. While we haven’t been provided with specific retention, onboarding, or financial metrics, during the two years Altogether Agency partnered with them, Fever-Tree USA grew profitable enough to be acquired by Miller Coors in 2025. The information we have received highlights a significant and positive transformation in their organizational culture.
